What is the AI Impact Lab?
It is a free, 10-week online programme that helps local and national organisations working in humanitarian supply chains build a working AI prototype and a Solution Blueprint they can take forward. It is run by Tech To The Rescue in partnership with HELP Logistics, an initiative of the Kühne Foundation. Over the programme, each participating team moves from a defined operational bottleneck to a tested prototype, supported by expert mentors.
What does it cost, and what is the time commitment?
The programme is free — there is no fee. The real investment is your team's time: roughly 5 hours per week during the prework phase and about 8 hours per week during the bootcamp itself. Teams should plan for two to three members to stay engaged across the full 10 weeks.
When does it run?
Applications are open from 15 June to 24 July 2026. Prework begins on 10 August 2026, and the bootcamp itself starts on 31 August 2026, running for the balance of the 10-week programme. Because places are cohort-based, late applications cannot be accommodated once the window closes.
Who is eligible?
- Organisations with at least two years of experience working in humanitarian supply chains.
- A clearly defined operational bottleneck that is a good fit for an AI solution.
- Data readiness — access to the data needed to build and test a prototype.
- A committed team of two to three people available for the full 10 weeks.
Priority is given to organisations that are based in the Global South, refugee-led, or women-led — which is why this is a high-relevance opportunity for InfoOnAIResources' audience.
